Hotel Pulverer’s Chalets

Everything Tastes Better in the Pulverer Alpine Chalets

The alpine chalets are operated by the Hotel Pulverer. Here you will find Austrian specialities served in a rustic atmosphere. Enjoy local delicacies and regional dishes at 2,000m above sea level!

The Rossalm-Hütte Alpine Chalet

A truly old-school mountain restaurant: Rustic, cosy, homey and only reachable from the Kaiserburg mountain station via skis. Snap on your skis and go! Fantastic Austrian cuisine is always on the agenda.

Nockalmhütte Chalet

The Nockalmhütte Chalet is about 2.5 hours away from the Hotel Pulverer by foot. Siegrun Pulverer was at one time the innkeeper here and travelled each day by foot from the chalet into the valley below and back. Choose between a comfy spot in the hunting parlour or in the Swiss Pine room. Or take a seat near the large, open fireplace with a view of the crackling fire. Whichever you choose, you are always in good company at the Nockalmhütte ski chalet, as this stop-off is a popular destination among both locals and hotel guests.

Kaiserburg Mountain Restaurant

You can easily reach the Kaiserburg mountain restaurant in summer via the Kaiserburg chair lift and in winter by way of the Kaiserburg gondola. Ambitious hikers can also make their way to the mountain restaurant and in just under 3 hours find themselves in front of this alpine chalet. From the Kaiserburg it is just a 30-minute walk to the summit of the Wöllanernock. This vantage point gives you a clear view of the Großglockner, the Karawanks range and the Julian Alps.

'Sunday children' should certainly experience the hike on the Kaiserburg at least once. As the legend goes, there is a hidden treasure along the path that only a 'Sunday child' can find!
