Every Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, the St. Kathrein parking area turns into a meeting place for food lovers and fans of regional products. Look forward to fresh, seasonal goods directly from local farmers and producers: Carinthian specialties, cheese, smoked meats, honey, fresh bread, herbs, homemade products, and much more.

Ready, set, sled!

With the Unterwirt Tractor Taxi, you’ll enjoy a relaxed ride to the start of the 4 km toboggan run at the Unterwirt Hüttn. Afterwards, a thrilling descent on the perfectly groomed track awaits you!

Music Festival 
“Wenn die Musi spielt” Winter Open Air 2026

Also in winter 2026, the largest and most successful folk music and schlager open-air event in Austria will take place in the Carinthian Nockberge mountains. Hosts Stefanie Hertel and Marco Ventre will guide the fans on-site – as well as the millions of viewers in front of their TVs – through this atmospheric “Musi” evening.

In Bad Kleinkirchheim, the stars of the folk music scene gather for the legendary open-air concert on the stage in St. Oswald, framed by the picturesque Carinthian Nockberge. Be there live and become part of the big Musi family!

Snowboarding made easy – technique training for newcomers

Discover your first steps in snowboarding at the Burton Riglet Park of the Krainer Ski School! Certified winter sports guides offer special introductory sessions for beginners, where you learn the basic techniques of snowboarding. In a safe and supportive environment, you’ll be guided step by step toward proper technique.

When? Every Sunday, 9:30 am to 11:30 am.

EXCLUSIVE: Early morning skiing with Olympic champion Franz Klammer

Experience untouched slopes and breathtaking views of the Nockberge. Franz Klammer accompanies you in the search for the perfect line.

Price: €195 per person (incl. 2-hour ski pass, breakfast, and mountain brunch)
Registration: Until the day before at the hotel reception, max. 50 participants. For experienced skiers only, or directly via this link.

Important: The climbing hall is closed – access only with prior registration.

You will receive the access code at the Bad Kleinkirchheim Tourist Office.

In bouldering, you move at jumping height without a harness or rope on an artificial climbing wall. Compared to climbing, bouldering is much more demanding, as short routes require solving challenging problems with dynamic movements.

Attention: There are NO supervisors in the hall!
