It tastes like a holiday

Regional specialities
from Carinthia

When you close your eyes whilst dining at our hotel, you can taste Carinthia. Most of our dishes and ingredients come from the region or even from our own farm, our own fallow deer enclosure, our fishing waters and our vegetable and herb gardens.

Simply mouth-watering: vegetables and herbs from our own garden, cheese from the local farmer, meat from our own farm and fresh chanterelles from the nearby forest! A holiday for the palate, so to speak. With delicious, freshly prepared dishes in which you can really savour the rural traditions and the proud culinary diversity of the Nockberge.

The Powderer and the Dear Cattle

Our farm

As we all know, the way to well-being is through the stomach. Did you know that the Thermenhotel Pulverer is the only 5-starhotel in Austria to boast its own farm, its own fallow deer enclosure, its own vegetable garden, happy free-range chickens and even its own fishing waters?

Excellent quality with traceable origins

We produce many of the high-quality ingredients for our kitchen on our own farm, whilst ensuring that we treat people, animals and nature with respect.

The well-being of our guests is at the heart of everything we do – in all our services, but also when it comes to the quality of our products. We also have this independently verified.

The Culinary Nights in autumn are all about indulgence. Once a year, we celebrate special weeks full of flavour, inspired by a selected culinary theme and enhanced with exquisite products from the GENUSS REGION KÄRNTEN & ÖSTERREICH.

No energy
wasted

The hotel derives its energy from the thermal water, the solar panels on the roof and the Bad Kleinkirchheim bioheat system. The thermal water is not only used for swimming – after heat is recovered using state-of-the-art heat pumps, the energy flows as heat into the rooms of the Panorama Wing.

The solar panels on the roofs of the buildings are also used to generate heat. As a result, almost all our rooms and suites, as well as the entire complex, are self-sufficient in cosy, sustainable heat.

In 2020, a photovoltaic system was installed on the carports and the roof of the wellness area, which can cover part of our electricity consumption. Further projects in this area are planned for the coming years.

The Pulverer family also promotes and supports local clubs in the region, as well as the nursery and the school. Each year, the ‘Klammer Foundation’, which supports young injured athletes, is supported through the hotel’s annual golf tournament. The same applies to the Johanniter and the volunteer fire brigade in Bad Kleinkirchheim – this, too, is a matter of great importance to the Pulverer family and all staff members.
